To make the pancake batter sift the flour and salt into a bowl. Add the egg and whisk well. Then add the milk gradually and whisk until smooth.
Heat a little oil in a frying pan until hot and then pour enough batter to thinly coat the base of the pan. Cook for a couple of minutes each side until cooked through then serve with the filling/topping of your choice.
