Quick Chicken Pie

This such a quick dish and so versatile we have it as a pie or with rice. No. of Servings:

Put a table spoon of olive oil in the casserole and put on medium heat.
Crush the Garlic and added to the pan.
Chop Onion and bacon and also add to pan simmer until onion is soft
Chop the chicken in to 1 " cubes and coat with the flour.
Add chicken to pan and mix, turn until meat is coloured all over.
Add the button mushrooms.
After 2 mins add teh knob of butter and allow to melt keep stirring
Now add the pint of stock slowly scrapping the caramalizing off the bottom of the pan. The sauce should thicken
Cover with a lid and place in teh oven at 180 degrees C for 25 minutes.
Whilst it is cooking roll at the puff pastry and cut in to squares or rounds one per person. Glaze with beaten Egg and Bake in the oven for 20 mins.
The dish is ready to serve. Ladle the chicken on to a plate or bowl and then rest a puff pasty round on top . Perfect pie in a jiffy

4 Chicken breasts
Hand full of Button mushrooms
Two Tables spoons flour
Large Knob of butter
Olive Oil
1 pint Chicken stock
Ready Made Puff pastry
1 egg Equipment:
Good size Hob to oven casserole dish
