Baked Gnocchi with Chilli

Pre heat oven 170oC GAS
Heat 1 Tbsp oil in deep pan
Add the chopped onion & chopped chilli and fry until soft
Stir in 2Tbsp red pesto add the chopped tomatoes and 200ml water simmer for 5-7mins
Meanwhile cook the gnocchi following instructions on pk
Drain the gnocchi and stir into the tomato chilli sauce.
Transfer the mixture into an oven proof dish and sprinkle the breadcrumbs over the top.
Place the bake into the hot oven and bake for 20mins.
Serve while still hot with Crusty Bread.
This dish can be left vegetarian or add chopped cooked ham or cubed cooked chicken to this dish before transfering to the oven proof dish

1 onion Peeled & chopped
1-2 chillies de seeded & choped
190g jar red pesto
390g carton chopped tomatoes
left over cooked ham or chicken cubed.
