chilli and garlic king prawns with tagliatelle

Background Info:
I love king prawns and I love spicy food so I wanted to create a recipe that provided both without masking the flavour of the prawns with an overwhelming sauce.

Cooking Instructions:
Chop onions quite fine and saute them in olive oil in a frying pan on a medium heat until they are nearly soft,
add the carrot sticks and saute for a further 5 minutes,
add the raw prawns and saute until they are pink,
add the mushrooms and green beans and cook for a further 5 minutes.
While the vegetables and prawns are frying, boil some water and add the tagliatelle on a medium heat, cover the pan.
Add the crushed garlic, chilli sauce and stock cube to the frying pan with the vegetables and prawns and simmer until the pasta is cooked.
Drain the pasta and add a knob of butter and some freshly ground black pepper, dish the tagliatelle up on the plate and spoon over the vegetables and prawns.
Eat immediaetly.

If you like it spicier add half a tsp of chilli powder or half a freshly chopped chilli.
200g raw king prawns
one onion

2 medium carrots sliced into fine sticks
1/2 cup (100g) frozen green beans
5 medium mushrooms thinly sliced
2 tbsp chilli dipping sauce
1/2 tsp dried mixed herbs
150g tagliatelle
1 vegetable or fish stock cube
olive oil for cooking
