Peel & halve pears. Place in a saucepan with ginger ale, nutmeg and sugar. Bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer until liquid is reduced to a light syrup.
Seperately, mix the creme fraiche with the lemon liqueur (or lemon cordial). Sweeten if required.
Serve immediately with Creme Fraiche and sprinkle flaked almonds on top
