Braised sausages in red wine

Preferably in a casserole dish brown the the sausages all over in a little olive oil. Once brown remove from cassereole
Add bacon and shallots to casserole and toss around until browned.
Add flour and stir to soak up any liquid.
Add red wine
Bring to bubbling and add sausages
Season
Turn gas or electric down to the lowest possible setting. If left too high the liquid will dissappear.
Put lid on diash and cook for 30 minutes
After 30 minutes add sliced mushrooms and cook for further 20 minutes with lid off.
Serve with creamy mash potato

Tablespoon flour
1/2 pint red wine
4 Mushrooms
Salt
