Banana Coffee Rum Trifle

I got this recipe from my mum. Everybody in the family like this dessert. It is very easy to make that is why I like it. No. of Servings:

20min(s) Cooking Instructions:
1) Soak biscuits in coffee and Rum. Divide between 8 individual stem glass dishes.
2) Layer the sliced bananas in the glasses.
3) Heat milk in a pan. Blend cornflour, sugar, 2 tablespoon milk and egg yolks together. Pour hot milk into custard mixture and return custard into the pan and bring to the boil and thicken. Leave to cool.
4) Divide the custard crème between the glass dishes. Leave to chill.
5) Cover the top with whipped piped double cream
6) Sprinkle with toasted almonds. Decorate with chocolate shapes.
Ingredients:
200 ml strong coffee
1 tablespoon Rum
150g Amaretti biscuits
4 large banana (thinly sliced)
For the custard Creme:
500ml full cream milk
3 egg yolks
2 tablespoon sugar
30g cornflour
1 knob of butter
Decoration:
4 tbsp toasted flaked almonds
250ml thick double cream
100g dark chocolate (make into shapes)
