Heat sugar and syrup together until sugar dissolves. Cool slightly
Add syrup to beaten eggs whisking constantly.
Add remaining ingredients.
Pour Mixture into pie case and bake at 220c 425f or gas 7 for 10 mins.
Reduce heat to 180c, 350f gas 4 for 35 mins.

4oz Brown sugar
3 eggs (beaten)
1 teasp Vanilla Essence
6oz Maple Syrup
3 tsp Butter Melted
4oz Pecans (shelled)
