Cabbage and Leek Cheesy Bake

Background Info:
This is such a great recipe. No weighing or measuring required, easy to assemble and beautifully versatile; it works equally well with most varieties of cabbage (not red or white) and any blue cheese. A real winner on a cold winter day served alongside sausages or a fried or poached egg.

Cooking Instructions:
Slice the cabbage and leek and steam for five minutes.

Place the cabbage and leek in a large bowl, crumble in the gorgonzola and stir through.

Tip into a baking dish, scatter the grated cheddar over the top and put into a preheated oven - Gas 6/200c - and cook for 20-25 minutes until the top is golden.
Ingredients:
1/2 a Savoy cabbage
1 leek
125g pack of gorgonzola
Enough grated cheddar to cover the top of the assembled bake
Vegetariantick
Recommended Wine:
White : Any White Wine
