This is lovely soup to enjoy as a starter or with warm crusty buttered bread

Cooking Instructions:
Chop all the ingredients that need chopping and then put them in the blender, along with all other ingredients, keeping aside a few asparagus heads and a little cream.
Whizz for a bit until of soup consistency, depending on how bitty you like it, and pout into a saucepan.
Add the asparagus heads and heat for about 10 mins on a medium flame.
Pour into bowls and serve with a swirl of the cream, if you want something a little more filling then have this with warm crusty bread and butter!
Ingredients:
A bunch of Asparagus (say 10 stalks)
A few handfuls of spinach
1 onion
2 cloves garlic
1/2 pint chicken stock (or veg to keep it veggie)
280ml double cream
Good helping of Pepper
a few pinches of salt

Recommended Wine:
White : Any White Wine
