Cooking Instructions:
I prefer to soak the gammon for a few hours first as I don?t like any sort of salty taste but this is up to you!

Chop the onions & peppers into chunks (size to your preference) and the potato into approx 1cm diced cubes.

Place the gammon joint in the middle of the slow cooker, then add all of the ingredients, give it a stir t and cook on low for 6-8 hours or med for 5-6 hours.

When it?s ready it should be easy to shred the gammon with 2 forks, then just stir the shredded gammon back through with everything & serve.

This is good with rice, crusty bread, jacket potatoes ? anything really!

I sometimes replace 1 of the tin of beans with mixed beans for a bit of variety ? I think any tin of beans or pulses will work!
? Gammon Joint (all visible fat removed)

? Three cloves of garlic (crushed)
? Two peppers ? any colour!

? One tablespoons of tomatoes puree
? One or two teaspoons of chilli powder (to your taste)
? One tablespoon of smoked paprika (to your taste)
? One or two tablespoons of mixed herbs (to your taste)
